Teknologia muuttaa maailmaa – miten saisimme enemmän naisia teknologiaopintojen pariin? Teknologiaa opiskelevat naiset – jakakaa ajatuksenne vastaamalla kyselyyn – mielipiteenne ovat tärkeitä!

Teknologia on kaikkialla ja sillä on merkittävä rooli ihmiskunnan suurimpien haasteiden ratkaisemisessa. Teknologiaopintojen pariin hakeutuu kuitenkin edelleen vain vähän naisia. Miksi näin on ja mitä pitäisi tehdä, jotta tämä muuttuisi?

Näihin kysymyksiin Mimmit Koodaa, Tekniikan Akateemiset TEK, Women in Tech Finland ja Accenture ovat lähteneet hakemaan vastauksia yhteisen kyselyn kautta.

Kyselyn avulla haluamme ymmärtää:

• mitkä tekijät vaikuttavat naisten hakeutumiseen teknologiopintojen pariin
• miten inklusiivisina opinnot koetaan
• millaisena naiset näkevät tulevaisuutensa työelämässä
• miten saisimme kannustettua enemmän naisia teknologia-alalle

Kyselyn kohderyhmänä ovat teknologiaa opiskelevat naiset Suomessa, myös alanvaihtajat.

Jokainen vastaus on kullanarvoinen – yhdessä voimme vaikuttaa siihen, että teknologia-ala on entistä vetovoimaisempi vaihtoehto naisille, jotka haluavat olla mukana muuttamassa maailmaa.

Technology is changing the world – how can we get more women to study technology? Female tech students – share your thoughts by responding to our survey – your opions matter!

Technology is everywhere and plays a critical in solving the biggest challenges of humankind. However, only few women choose to study technology. Why is this and what can we do about it?

Mimmit Koodaa, Tekniikan Akateemiset TEK, Women in Tech Finland and Accenture have set out to find answers to these questions by setting up a joint survey.

With the survey we want to understand:

• What motivates women to study technology
• How inclusive is the culture at their school
• How do tech women see their future in the work life
• What actions should be taken to get more women into technology

The target group of the survey are women who study technology in Finland, including those who are changing careers.

Each response is extremely valuable – together we can make an impact and make technology studies and careers a more attractive choice for women who want to change the world with technology.
